Choose the Fright Level First

For a darker room, start with the raven and skull compositions, crowned portraits or the blindfolded figure. Their black, bone, red and gold details suit a study, music space, bedroom or bar corner where the art can stay up beyond October. The witch-hat pumpkin and soft-sheet ghosts are more playful. Pink bows, bubblegum, roses and a black-cat companion make those designs easier to use in a cheerful seasonal display.

Protect the Shadow Detail When You Print

Dark artwork can lose texture when a printer closes up the blacks. Make a small proof before ordering a large print, then check the raven feathers, skull edges, dark backgrounds and fine floral detail. Screen brightness, paper, ink and printer settings all affect the result. Ask your chosen print provider to preserve shadow detail and keep the artwork's original ratio instead of cropping the top or sides.

Use the Vertical Shape Deliberately

The designs shown here are predominantly portrait-oriented. That shape works naturally on narrow walls, beside shelving, over a bedside table or as one tall element in a gallery arrangement. Above a wide sofa or sideboard, one small vertical print can feel isolated.
